| One of the Local Great Blue Herons looking for lunch. He is an awesome fishing crane, very sly, moves everso slowly, untill ??? ( wammo! dinner time!) 1 very shy bird though. He didn't care for us getting close to him, and we preferred to enjoy his presence while we stopped
by for some photo's. so we keep a comfortable distance between us, and what a unforgettable day we had!
Some good examples of water meal,and filamentous alga that float on top of some of the ponds,and lakes from mid june into early September,( Also referred to as pond scum.) they can some times overrun shallow ponds, lake fingers, and back wash areas.
Most aquatic plant life can be controlled, or eradicated with carefully managed practices.

| I managed to get back out to the pond,
And I remembered correctly,how thing go
when the timing is right. The fishies were
breakin water! Dinner Time! The breezes
had most of the algae pushed over,but
it didn't take long for it to work it's way
back into the casting zone! we had
about 1 hour to get some fun in,In the tight
quarters. Then the windows closed again.

1 Practice catch and release!
2 Debarbing your hooks, is fishy friendly.
3 The less you handle them the better.
4 Watch out for that man from Mars.
5 and there's always tomorrow.
